Digital Desk: Hagrama Mohilary, chief of the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) will take oath as the new Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) on October 5.


The oath-taking ceremony, originally scheduled for October 3, was rescheduled to October 5 following a meeting with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.


The immersion ceremony of Durga Maa is scheduled for October 3, following which the council will be formed on October 5.


A discussion addressing administrative shortcomings was held between Hagrama Mohilary and Assam Chief Minister during the meeting.


After October 5, both leaders are set to convene for another round of discussions.


Hagram Mohiliary was accompanied by leaders Durga Das Boro, Rihon Daimary, Rabiram Narzary, and several others.
