A total of 429,249 candidates appeared for the examination


Digital Desk: The results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2026 have been officially declared. Jyotirmay Das from Bajali has emerged as the overall topper. The overall pass percentage stands at 65.62%.


A total of 429,249 candidates appeared for the examination, including 186,468 boys and 242,781 girls. Out of them, 281,701 students have successfully passed the examination.


Among the districts, Dima Hasao has secured the top position with the highest pass percentage of 88.23%, followed by Sivasagar at 84.08% and Dibrugarh at 78.46%.


Jyotirmay Das from Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Patacharkuchi secured the first rank, while Akanksha Bhuyan of Ambikagiri Rai Choudhury Jatiya Vidyalaya, Howajan, Biswanath stood second.


Jiya Farah Islam of Little Flower School, Dibrugarh and Surjit Akhtar of Little Flower School, Nalbari jointly secured the third position.

 

The results mark a significant academic milestone for students across the state, reflecting their performance in the HSLC Examination 2026.
