Human Organ Trafficking Network Exposed in Nagaon: Three Suspects Apprehended

Digital Desk: Nagaon police has dismantled a kidney trafficking ring, arresting three notorious brokers.

Acting under the directive of District Superintendent of Police, Swapnaneel Deka, a raid was conducted in Huju Kaibarta village, leading to the apprehension of Deep Das, Dharani Das, and Mahendra Das.

The illegal operation was reportedly facilitating the supply of kidneys from Nagaon to Kolkata.

Swapnaneel Deka is currently interrogating the suspects to uncover further details about the network.

This is not the first instance of such activities in the area. Four years ago, several individuals were arrested in the same village for involvement in kidney trafficking.

Authorities are intensifying efforts to prevent a resurgence of such crimes.
