Digital Desk: A kidney trafficking racket has once again resurfaced in Assam’s Nagaon district. Acting on the directives of Nagaon Superintendent of Police Swapnaneel Deka, police launched a successful operation in Huj Kaibarta village, leading to the arrest of three suspected kidney brokers.


The accused have been identified as the notorious Bogamula alias Dip Das, Dharani Das, and Mahendra Das. According to police sources, the racket was involved in supplying human kidneys from Nagaon to Kolkata.


SP Swapnaneel Deka personally supervised the interrogation of the arrested trio to uncover further links in the illegal organ trade network.


It is noteworthy that a similar kidnapping case of kidney cases was reported four years ago in the same village of Huj where a number of people were apprehended in the operation of a similar racket. The recent  raid has brought out once more the nasty side of human organ trafficking in the
