Digital Desk: A shocking incident has emerged from Mariani, where a female police officer stationed at the Mariani Police Station was caught red-handed by her husband.
The officer was discovered in her rented room with Bablu Bornwoak, a jawan from the 29 Assam Police Battalion, leading to dramatic consequences.
Both were found together in the rented accommodation located in Ward No. 7 of Mariani.
Upon discovering them together, the husband confronted them physically and subsequently dragged Bablu Bornwoak to the Mariani Police Station.
The husband, married to the officer for nine years, claimed their relationship began to unravel after she secured her job.
Despite having a seven-year-old child, the woman reportedly started behaving differently. She frequently uploaded videos on Instagram and distanced herself from her family, showing little interest in her husband and child.
Her avoidance and lack of involvement with the family raised suspicions, prompting her husband to investigate further. Ultimately, he caught her with Bablu Bornwoak in her rented room late at night.
Following the incident, the husband filed an official complaint against both officers at the Mariani Police Station. It remains to be seen how the authorities will handle the investigation into the matter.
