Digital Desk: It has been a month since the untimely demise of Zubeen Garg, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Debo Borkotoky, the proprietor of NK Productions, shared his statement with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on October 20.
Borkotoky, who had a long-standing association with Zubeen Garg, was summoned to provide details regarding the singer's music royalties and copyright matters.
Borkotoky informed that prior to his trip to Singapore, Zubeen Garg met him.
Speaking to the media, he said, "I met Zubeen a few days before his trip to Singapore. He mentioned that he is currently focusing more on movies than on songs. I don't personally know Siddharth Sharma, as they weren't involved earlier. Later, Tarsame Mittal and Siddharth Sharma took over managing all of Zubeen's affairs."
Furthermore, Borkotoky remarked, "Zubeen's death was caused by sheer negligence. Zubeen directly receives royalties from his productions. If Siddharth Sharma's name is linked to the bank account, then the royalties might go there. I am unaware of that."
