Guwahati: "I swear upon my kids, I didn't kill them. I was forced to make a false confession as I was tortured day and night by the police," said Akash Choudhury. The sensational Beltola murder case is taking new turns every other day as the investigating team continue to look out for other probable suspects involved in the case.

In the latest development into the sensational Beltola murder case, the main suspect into the crime, Akash Choudhury, who was also the caretaker of the deceased Baruah couple alleged that he didn't kill the old couple. He was instead forced to make wrong confessions after being tortured by the police. He blurted out in front of the media persons today while outside the CJM court (Chief Judicial Magistrate) in Guwahati, that he swear by his kids, and that he has no role into the crime.

With this new confession, the investigation takes a new turn as even the investigating team continue to point their doubts on Akash.

Few days ago, Akash had confessed in front of the police of killing the Baruah couple. Though he didn't mention the main reason behind the murder.

Akash Choudhury has been in police remand for questioning into the murder case.
