New Delhi: The Indian Air Force airlifted the first batch of 900 oxygen cylinders from Britain to India. The British Oxygen Company has given 5000 oxygen cylinders to help India fight Covid 19.

On Sunday, the UK had announced that they will be sending additional 1,000 ventilators to India. This will be a part of a commitment to support India in the surge of the second wave of Covid 19.

The Indian Air Force authorities are working restlessly for the shipping of medical supplies. They are working from the force base in Panagarh in West Bengal.

The Indian Air Force`s (IAF) c-17 aircraft had returned from Frankfurt and Germany after having airlifted four empty cryogenic oxygen containers. The Indian Air Force`s c-17s also airlifted 8 cryogenic oxygen containers from Hyderabad, Vijaywada, and Ranchi.

Several nations are providing help for India during this second wave of Covid 19 in India.
