All general admission tickets for the flagship game were sold out within five minutes of going on sale in February.

Digital Desk: Standing room tickets for the highly anticipated ICC Men's T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan at the MCG on October 23 were released on Thursday.

The general admission tickets for the marquee game sold out five minutes after they went on sale in February.

According to the International Cricket Council, over 4000 standing room tickets will be available for $30 and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

"The ticket's official launch ensures that as many fans as possible can attend the match on Sunday, October 23." "A limited number of packages are still available for purchase through the ICC Hospitality and ICC Travel & Tours programs," the ICC said.

Closer to the tournament's opening match on October 16, the organizers will also launch a re-sale platform.

"Fans who miss out on tickets can still see the world's best cricketers at other T20 World Cup matches, with kids tickets starting at just $5 and adult tickets starting at $20," according to the ICC.

"Tickets are also still available for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Final, which will also be held at the MCG on November 13," ICC stated.
