The player auction for the upcoming ninth season was held on August 5 and 6, according to Mashal Sports, the event's organizers.

Digital Desk: The ninth season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) will begin on October 7, 2022, and run through mid-December. Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad will host the league stage.

"Mashal Sports began the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League journey to bring the indigenous sport of kabaddi to the world of contemporary and upcoming generations of sports fans."


Head of sports leagues and Pro Kabaddi League Commissioner,  Anupam Goswami said, "We continue to have impressive success in this goal, as demonstrated earlier this year by the Vivo PKL Season 8 competition, which was held in a comprehensive bio-bubble."

He further stated, "We are even more excited about the upcoming Vivo PKL Season 9 because our fans will be back in stadiums across Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad to witness the pulsating action of their favourite teams and stars up close."
