According to information released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday (July 15), there were 16,994 discharges across the nation over the previous 24 hours, bringing the country's overall recovery rate to 98.49% and bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,30,45,350.

According to data released today by the health ministry, there are now 1,39,073 active COVID-19 cases in India. There were 1,36,076 active cases registered yesterday.

A Significant increase in active cases

In the last 24 hours, there has been an increase of 2,997 cases in the active COVID-19 caseload. According to the ministry, 0.31 percent of all infection cases are current cases.

ICMR Testing:

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) reports that 86,86,15,168 samples have undergone COVID-19 testing as of July 14th. On Thursday, 4,50,820 of these samples were examined.
