Digital Desk: The Union ministry of home affairs (MHA) decided to grant e-emergency visas to over 100 Afghan Sikhs and Hindus on 'priority' a day after the deadly terror attack at Gurudwara Karte Parwan in Kabul's Bagh-e-Bala neighborhood in which two people, including a Sikh, were killed, according to people familiar with the matter.

India vehemently condemned the "cowardly attack" on the Sikh place of worship.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar stated, "Our first and foremost concern is for the welfare of the community,"

On Saturday, multiple blasts ripped through a gurdwara in Kabul, killing two people, one of whom was a Sikh, and injuring seven others. At the same time, Afghan security personnel averted a larger tragedy by stopping an explosive-laden vehicle from reaching the minority community's place of worship in the war-torn country.

Gurdwara Karte Parwan in Kabul's Bagh-e Bala neighborhood was attacked early Saturday morning in the latest targeted attack on a Sikh place of worship in Afghanistan, according to Abdul Nafi Takor, a spokesperson for the Interior Ministry.

It is to be mentioned that the gun battle lasted several hours between the terrorists and Taliban fighters.

According to an Afghan news agency report, Taliban fighters killed three attackers.
