"Whether it's the goal of creating medical colleges in every district of the country or initiatives to make medical education more accessible to everybody. The country will get a record number of new doctors in the next ten years," PM Modi said.

Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Friday that the country would receive a record number of new doctors in the next ten years.

His statements come after he inaugurated the KK Patel Super Speciality Hospital in Gujarat's Bhuj district via video conferencing.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, PM Modi said, "People in Bhuj will have access to high-quality healthcare at an affordable price. Two decades ago, Gujarat had only nine medical colleges with 1,100 seats, but now we have over 36 medical colleges with over 6,000 seats."

The Prime Minister also stated that India would receive a record number of doctors for better health services in the next ten years. "Whether it's the goal of creating medical colleges in every district of the country or initiatives to make medical education more accessible to everybody. The country will get a record number of new doctors in the next ten years," PM Modi said.

Furthermore, defining the term "improved health facilities" stated that they are not limited to the treatment of disease.

"Better health care facilities do more than merely treat diseases; they also promote social equality. When the poor have access to the most affordable and effective treatment, their faith in the system grows," PM Modi stated.

Notably, the hospital was constructed by Shree Kutchi Leva Patel Samaj, Bhuj. According to the PMO, this is Kutch's first charitable super specialty hospital, with 200 beds.

"It offers super specialty services like Interventional Cardiology (Cathlab), Cardiothoracic Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Nephrology, Urology, Nuclear Medicine, Neuro Surgery, Joint Replacement, and other supportive services like laboratory, radiology, and others," PM Modi claimed.

Moreover, the PM Modi noted that the hospital provides medical super specialty services to the people in the region at a reasonable cost.
