Digital Desk: Ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023, every team is required to play two warm-up matches. India will play host to reigning champions England in their first warm-up match on Saturday. The match will take place at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

England will have the opportunity to get used to the conditions in India and the types of pitches during the game. Ahead of the official matches, the Men in Blue will also look to decide on their team combination.

India recently defeated Australia in a comfortable series, and they hope to maintain their momentum through the matches. On the other hand, England's World Cup run begins soon after their victory against Ireland. They would nevertheless be determined to evaluate the playing circumstances in the subcontinent.
