Digital Desk: The Indian Awaz Foundation successfully hosted the 7th edition of The Indian Awaz (TIA) Awards 2025 at ANIYAA Edition, 9th Mile, Guwahati, bringing together over 200 distinguished guests, entrepreneurs, authors, content creators, and changemakers from across India and the Northeast region.


The prestigious ceremony, held under the theme of recognizing excellence in entrepreneurship, literature, journalism, and social impact, honored outstanding individuals and organizations making significant contributions to society. The event featured multiple award categories including Business Awards, Author Awards, and special recognitions for young professionals and industry pioneers.


Distinguished Awardees and Categories


The ceremony recognized exceptional achievements across diverse sectors:


Business Excellence: Notable recipients included Rabbani Soyam (Buddies Production) for Outstanding Achievement in Film Making & Production, The Organic Roots for Sustainable Gardening Brand of the Year, and Himangshu Baruah (Finderbridge Tourism) for Tourism Innovator of the Year – Northeast India.


Entrepreneurial Innovation: Mr Paan Wala was honored with a special recognition for his innovative approach to traditional business models, demonstrating how creativity can transform conventional enterprises.


Healthcare Leadership: Dr Ashim received recognition for his outstanding contributions to the healthcare sector, exemplifying dedication and excellence in medical services.


Young Professional Recognition: The event celebrated emerging talent with CA Manas Kedia, CA Tanuj Jallan, and CA Rahul Kabra receiving special recognition as outstanding Chartered Accountants under 35 years of age.


Bikash Chetry received the Digital Creator of the Year award, and Ryan Baker was recognized as Best Sound Engineer of the Year.


Media & Digital Excellence: Shoubhik Roy Choudhury was honored as Digital Media Personality of the Year – Northeast India, recognizing his significant impact in digital media and content creation. Bikash Chetry won Digital Creator of the Year.


Women Leadership: Gitanjali Borthakur received the prestigious Women Entrepreneur & Event Industry Pioneer of the Year award in recognition of her exceptional contributions to transforming the event management industry and inspiring women entrepreneurs across Northeast India.


Innovation Through Collaboration: The Collab Circle


A unique highlight of this year's awards was the introduction of the Collab Circle, featuring the top 10 recognized brands and organizations. This innovative platform facilitates meaningful connections, enabling attendees to connect, collaborate, and expand their business networks. The Collab Circle represents the foundation's commitment to fostering long-term partnerships and creating sustainable business ecosystems that extend beyond the awards ceremony. Through structured networking and collaborative initiatives, participants can leverage each other's strengths to drive mutual growth and regional development.


Key partners including ONGC, BTR SEED Mission, Sevensense Communication, ANIYAA Edition, Pixxel Monk, and Urban Breeze were honored with Certificates of Appreciation for their invaluable support in making the event successful.


A special highlight was the video message from Wilson Hasda, Executive Member of BTR, who shared his inspiring words despite being unable to attend the ceremony in person.

The Indian Awaz Foundation, established as a not-for-profit organization, has been dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through interventions in health, livelihood, education, and disaster relief since 2020. The TIA Awards, running since 2016, have grown significantly in scope and participation, with nominations now received from various parts of the country.
