Addressing the press briefing, Air Marshal AK Bharti stated that India's fight was with terrorists and their support infrastructure and not with the Pakistani military or civilians. But it is petty that the Pakistani military chose to intervene for the terrorists, which compelled India to respond and retaliate.

Digital Desk: Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai (Director General Military Operations), Air Marshal AK Bharti (Director General Air Operations), Vice Admiral AN Pramod (Director General Naval Operations) addressed a press briefing on Monday, where they jointly announced the results of 'Operation Sindoor.'

Addressing the press briefing, Air Marshal AK Bharti stated that India's fight was with terrorists and their support infrastructure and not with the Pakistani military or civilians. But it is petty that the Pakistani military chose to intervene for the terrorists, which compelled India to respond and retaliate.

Then, he further stated about how the armed forces have tried to minimise the damage to both civilians and military infrastructure in the country despite no effort from Pakistani forces.

He added that India's counter systems and trained air defence operators are fully capable of countering any attack.

The indigenous Air defence weapon system, like the Akash system, performed significantly during Operation Sindoor, Bharti said.

AK Bharti then acknowledged the unwavering support and budgeting provided by the Government of India.

Addressing the press briefing, Rajeev Ghai hailed the unique mixture of Counter-Unmanned Aerial System, Air Defence Weapons, and mediums of electronic warfare in India's efforts to pause Pakistani attacks.

He also said that there was no chance that Pakistan could have broken India's multi-layered air defence system and targeted airfields and logistic installations.
