Digital Desk: Delhi Capitals (DC) will take on the defending champion Gujarat Titans in their maiden home game (GT). DC's regular captain Rishabh Pant will watch his team play in the IPL game. On Tuesday at 7.30 p.m., the game will be contested at the Arun Jaitley stadium.

Pant is currently recovering from the injuries that he sustained in a car accident last year in December.  He was disqualified from the IPL 2023 as a result. He is still receiving treatment. David Warner has been selected as the Delhi franchise's captain for the IPL's 16th season.

Delhi has kept Pant's jersey (17) on top of their dugout throughout their IPL 2023 opening match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as a tribute to their injured regular skipper. Before their match on Tuesday, DC players wished Pant a speedy recovery in a video.

Pant will watch Delhi Capitals vs. Gujarat Titans, according to joint secretary of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) Rajan Manchanda. "For our viewers tomorrow, there is excellent news. Rishabh Pant is travelling to support his squad despite being injured. He is a Delhi star (Capitals). I'm hoping fans would applaud him for joining his cricket team despite the injury "Manchanda said on Monday to ANI.

The second Test between India and Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, which finished on December 25, was the 25-year-old Pant's last game.
