Digital Desk: As many as seven brokers were arrested for allegedly being involved in a job scam, officials reported on Monday.

According to reports, the brokers were arrested after a police team from the Dispur police station conducted raids in the city’s Borbari locality yesterday. The brokers reportedly had prepared a list of jobs in the Assam government’s water resources department.

It is to be noted that the identification of the brokers is yet to be known. The police is currently interrogating them at the Dispur Police station for further information into the matter.
