Digital Desk: Assam Police arrested a man from the Bhutan border in Tamulpur on May 16 for his alleged involvement in a rape case. 

According to police, the accused, identified as Sanju Biswas allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl in Kaliabor and fled the scene. 

He was later arrested from the Bhutan border by the Uluwani Police. 

Police have charged him under the POCSO Act, registering the case as Case No. 25/2025.
