Digital Desk: Kamal Haasan's Vikram collected over Rs 200 crore even
before it could hit the theatres, and the movie is just a few days away from
release.
Vikram's
satellite and over-the-top (OTT) rights (in many languages) were reportedly
sold for record rates, according to trade reports. Vikram's pre-release box
office is the highest of Kamal Haasan's career. Vikram is one of the most
eagerly awaited films of the year.
Notably,
Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will hit theatres on June 3rd. In addition
to Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi and
Fahadh Faasil.
Ramesh Bala, the trade analyst, took Twitter to inform that the film, Vikram, has earned over Rs 200 crore in the pre-release business. He wrote, "#Vikram / #VikramHitlist - Highest Pre-release Business for #KamalHaasan. More than Rs 200 Crs+ including Satellite and OTT in Multiple Languages (sic)."
