Digital Desk: Technology has many advantages, and it undoubtedly makes life easier and more convenient. In one man's case, it aided him in making a major life decision. Through the GPS data from his family's car, one man from Bengaluru discovered that his wife was cheating on him.
The man told TOI that the GPS tracker connected to his smartphone helped him discover his wife's secret affair. He went on to say that he worked night shifts and had no idea about the affair until he came across the GPS data. His wife was completely unaware of the GPS tracker.
The man explained how he discovered the incident, saying, "Someone stole my car one day last year while I was working the night shift in the office. A thorough examination of the GPS data revealed that the car had moved in the direction of the KIA by midnight and had come to a halt outside a hotel. It was returned home shortly after 5 a.m. When I arrived at the hotel, I discovered that my wife and her boyfriend had reserved a room using their voter ID."
As a result, the man claimed he confronted his wife and her lover. The duo, however, threatened him.
With no other options, the man went to a local court and asked the Mahalakshmipuram police station to file a complaint against his wife.
The wife is currently residing in a rural area of the state. Meanwhile, the cops served her with a summons.
Since 2014, the couple has been married. They have a six-year-old daughter.
