On August 11, Laal Singh Chaddha will be released in theatres.

Digital Desk: On Sunday, the trailer of the much-anticipated 'Laal Singh Chaddha' was released, and sadly, some internet users are dissatisfied with Aamir Khan. Notably, the film is an official remake of Tom Hanks' classic Forest Gump, which was released in 1994. After the LSC trailer was released digitally, Tom Hanks and Forest Gump are trending on Twitter. While a part of the audience has positively received the trailer, another section of the audience didnt like it and blamed Aamir Khan and the makers for spoiling the classic.

Aamir Khan is being slammed on social media for copying Tom Hanks and ruining the latter's legendary performance. Moreover, certain internet users have dubbed Khan's performance "an extension of Dhoom 3 and PK". Others think Tom Hanks' film version to be a 'mistake.'

One netizen wrote, "Instead of #laalsinghchadda i will watch #ForestGump again. What a brainless lot The top layer of Bollywood is!!! Engineering me topo maarke project complete karne jaisi movie banate rahte hai.Amir seems hell-bent on acting like @tomhankbut falls flat. #LalSinghChaddhaTrailer."

"It is a remake of #forestgump; the trailer is not even close to the movie. Paucity of ideas in Bollywood movies is quite apparent. #LaalSinghChaddhaTrailer." another netizen wrote.

"#forestgump #LaalSinghChaddhaTrailer #dhoom3 Cheap Copy of Mr Bean," another netizen wrote.

The teaser depicts the life of Laal Singh, a physically challenged youngster who, by the force of belief, overcame his disability and went on to fight the country's enemies. Laal's growing romance with Kareena Kapoor Khan's character is also depicted in the trailer, and how it ends in heartbreak. Prior to the trailer's release, Laal Singh Chadha's producers released two songs from the film, 'Kahani' and 'Main Ki Karan', which have been well received by fans. Advait Chandan directs the film, which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh. On August 11, Laal Singh Chaddha will be released in theatres.
