Digital Desk: Today at 12:25pm, veteran legendary singer,  Asha Bhosle passed away in Mumbai at the age of 93 after suffering a cardiac arrest. She had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on 11th April.


Her funeral will be held tomorrow at Shivaji Park at 4:00pm, The news of her Demise is confirmed by her son Anand Bhosle. He is her younger son and has managed her affairs in recent years. Her eldest son, Hemant Bhosle, passed away in 2015.


Born in 1933, Asha Bhosle began her singing career at the age of 19 and went on to become one of India’s most celebrated and versatile playback singers.


In recognition of her immense contribution to Indian music, she was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan in 2008 and the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000.


Her passing marks the end of an era, leaving behind a rich musical legacy cherished across generations.
