Digital Desk: Every year, the Mising Autonomous Council (MAC) organizes the Mising Autonomous Council Super League Football Championship, and this year is no exception . The football championship under the Mising Autonomous Council will start its Gogamukh event on 6th February .Currently, the participants are undergoing training and selection procedures at different zones across the geographical areas.
At a conference hosted at the MAC Secretariat by Paramananda Saiyeng who serves as the chief of MAC the role of this occasion was stressed. The purpose of the football training camp is dedicated to build a healthy environment for Mising community and rural athletes. Training for 17 under-15 football players located in 40 constituencies belonging to the Mising Autonomous Council takes place at the Penchak Silat Residential School in Mingmang.
The tournament will feature knockout matches on 6th February and 7th February using eight competitors. The tournament semi-finals will take place on 8th February before reaching the finals on the following day (9th February ). The tournament will play two games per day between four competing teams. Eight teams will proceed to play their matches on 8th February. Additionally, a 15-year-old and under football competition will be scheduled for a later period.
