Digital Desk: An incidence similar to Manipur has come to light in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh when a woman was stripped naked and viciously thrashed by a half-dozen individuals. When the husband complained, he was ruthlessly beaten up as well. A case has been filed against a half-dozen people under serious sections based on the victim's complaint.

The victim woman stated that she is a Muslim and believes in Hinduism. This is why I married a Hindu young man, and it is also why society's contractors are opposed to this. As a result, "a half-dozen people, including the village chief, barged into my house, stripped me naked, and severely beat me. Even after the stick was broken on my body and the victim informed the bullies that I was three months pregnant, the bullies hit me severely. Not only that but when I was riding my bike to Bareilly with my husband, bullies dragged him out in the middle of the road and cruelly beat him. As a result, he sustained major injuries throughout his body." she elaborately stated about the incident.

The victim's husband, on the other hand, claims that Gangadhar, Moti, Jabir, Sabir, Laxman, and Vijay took him out of my aunt's house and then beat him with sticks. Not only that but he was flung by tying a rope around his hands and feet. I stripped my wife and severely beaten her. On the basis of the victim's complaint, police have launched a case against Gangadhar, Moti, Jabir, Sabir, Laxman, and Vijay at Kyodia police station under sections 147,452,354,354(b)341, 323,504,506.

In this case, SP Dehat Rajkumar Aggarwal claims that a video is going viral on social media claiming that an incident similar to Manipur occurred in Bareilly. While the woman's family members had filed a case, the police had recovered the woman. She afterwards married the same young man with whom she had left. The issue of money transactions is prominent in this case.
