Digital Desk: In a horrific incident, a 10-year-old boy was mercilessly murdered at Umtangar village under Patharkhmah Police Station in Ri Bhoi District.
The boy was identified as Kitborlang Marbaniang and was the son of Diona Marbaniang and Synshar Nonghyndah resided at Umtangarvillage. He had left home with a friend on Saturday but failed to return. His body was found in a jungle near his home on Sunday night around 7 PM. His body had injuries to the face and the forehead revealing the gruesome attack on him.
Upon knowing the incident, the Police from Patharkhmah rushed to the spot for investigation and later his body was taken to Civil Hospital Nongpoh for postmortem examination and after the postmortem examination his body was handed over to his family for final rites on Monday.
