The first and second positions were bagged by Laban Bengalee Boys' Higher Secondary School, Shillong. Gyanesh Roy Bhowmik secured the first position in the HSSLC (Science) exams in 2022 with 469 marks, followed by Rishi Sarkar securing the second position with a total of 460 marks.


Digital Desk:  The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) on Thursday declared the results of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination for Science, Commerce, and Vocational Streams.

 

A total of 2,981 candidates appeared for the Science Stream HSSLC examination, where a total of 2135 cleared the exams, with a 71.62 pass percentage.

 

As for the Commerce stream, 2047 candidates appeared in the exams, and 1712 candidates were able to pass the examination, with an 83.63 pass percentage.

 

The first and second positions were bagged by Laban Bengalee Boys' Higher Secondary School, Shillong. Gyanesh Roy Bhowmik secured the first position in the HSSLC (Science) exams in 2022 with 469 marks, followed by Rishi Sarkar securing the second position with a total of 460 marks.

 

The third position was secured by Chetna Bose from Don Bosco College (Hr. Sec Section) Tura with 459 total marks.

 

RK Mission Higher Secondary School, Cherrapunjee, also bagged the fourth and sixty positions for the Science Stream. At the same time, St Anthony's Higher Secondary School bagged the fifth, seventh, and eighth positions.

 

While in the commerce stream, St. Anthony's Higher Secondary School, Shillong once again bagged the first position in the HSSLC exams 2022. The first position and the fourth, fifth, eighth, and tenth positions were also from St Anthony's.

 

Riya Kharpran of this school secured 464 marks to take the first position. 

 

Emerene Kharpran of St Edmund's Higher Secondary School, Shillong, and Keshav Agarwala of Don Bosco College (Hr. Sec Section), Tura, secured the second position with a total of 462 marks.

 

The third position was secured by Chirag Deb of Laban Bengalee Boy's Hr. Sec School, Shillong, with 456 marks.

 

Meanwhile, a total of 8 candidates appeared from the vocational stream, where all of the 8 cleared the exams.
