Digital Desk: Making a commendable and unusual gesture, Minister Ashok Singhal himself intervened on 4th September , to control traffic congestion when Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Dhekiajuli.

 

The minister was at the constituency to attend  over an exclusive event under Lakhpati Baideu scheme, which is intended to empower women through financial aid. During the program, cheques were handed over to some of the women beneficiaries.

 

However, the arrival of the Chief Minister caused heavy  traffic jam in the location. . With traffic piling up and movement becoming difficult, Minister Singhal set aside protocol and took to the streets, helping traffic personnel regulate the flow of vehicles.

 

His proactive involvement quickly drew attention, with many locals and attendees praising his hands-on leadership and sense of civic responsibility The picture of a cabinet minister controlling the traffic was a surprise and an appreciation as it shows that the cabinet minister relates well with the citizens

 

Despite the temporary disruption, the event under the Lakhpati Baideu initiative continued smoothly, energizing the crowd and successfully delivering support to its intended beneficiaries.

Singhal’s gesture stood as a reminder that leadership often shines brightest in the simplest acts of service.
