Digital Desk: A shocking inhuman incident has been reported from Kunwaritol Madhavgaon in Kaliabor, where a local fish pond was allegedly poisoned, resulting in the death of a large number of fish.


The incident is suspected to be linked to election-related tensions, with miscreants accused of deliberately poisoning the water.


The pond, located at Saubhagya Madhav Devalaya, was being used for fish farming by a local youth, Munna Sharma of Kunwaritol.


Munna Sharma has alleged that the act was a retaliatory strike for his active involvement in campaigning for independent candidate Jitendra Gaur in the Kaliabor constituency.


Local residents discovered the devastation early in the morning when they noticed a large number of dead fish floating on the surface.


The incident has triggered widespread outrage and concern throughout the area, as the community calls for a thorough investigation into the malicious act.
