On a shocking, Assam man was lynched by the region's locals for his alleged killing of a minor boy.
Digital Desk: On Saturday, a mob in Dibrugarh's Rohmoria lynched and set fire to a man charged with killing a 5-year-old boy. "A five-year-old child at Dhalajan tea plantation under Dibrugarh's Rohmoria police station was allegedly stabbed to death in a machete attack by Sunil Tanti (35)," according to a senior police officer. "Following the incident, an enraged mob savagely attacked Tanti with a machete and rods before putting the situation under control; Dibrugarh Superintendent of Police Shwetank Mishra, Chabua Circle Inspector, Rohmoria police station officer in charge, and the central reserve police force (CRPF) arrived on the scene.
