Digital Desk: Samiran Baishya, Morigaon Additional Superintendent of Police, is grieving the untimely demise of his wife, Bhaswati Hazarika, a mother of a nearly three-year-old child.
Bhaswati was the source of inspiration and strength in Samiran Baishya's life.
Their family, once brimming with love and joy, had never encountered such sorrow - until a sudden storm shattered their peace.
In the early hours of Wednesday, Bhaswati suffered a heart attack and fell seriously ill. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she passed away, leaving behind her husband and their young child.
Her last rites were performed at Guwahati's Navagraha crematorium on August 28. With tears in his eyes and their child held close to his chest, Samiran Baishya bid farewell to Bhaswati.
Her departure has left Samiran Baishya, the accomplished police officer, heartbroken and deeply shaken.
Friends, admirers, and well-wishers have extended their condolences, standing in solidarity with the police officer in this time of immense grief.
