Digital Desk: A woman and her 5-year-old son have been missing from the Bamunimaidan area for over a month and a half, leaving their family in deep distress.

The individuals, identified as Princi Bora and her child, have been untraceable since March 25.

Her husband, Binod Bora, a native of Lakhimpur currently working for DSL Company in Guwahati, discovered they were missing after returning from work.

After a search among relatives and neighbours proved unsuccessful, Binod filed a formal missing persons report at the Chandmari Police Station.

Despite an ongoing police investigation, there has been no breakthrough in the case for 45 days.

With authorities unable to trace their whereabouts, the distraught husband has now turned to the media to appeal for public assistance.

Anyone with information regarding the mother and child is urged to contact the authorities.
