Digital Desk: Mridu Mudra Deka, the victim of the Nalbari incident, is showing steady signs of recovery at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).


Providing an update on her health, GMCH Superintendent Dr. Devajit Choudhury confirmed that her condition has significantly improved following surgery.


Dr. Choudhury noted that the victim's severe injuries are healing rapidly and her hemoglobin levels are stabilizing.


She remains in the ICU under the close supervision of a specialised seven-member  medical team.  


While her progress is encouraging, medical officials estimate it will be at least ten more days before she is fit for discharge.
