Digital Desk: A shocking case of patricide has emerged from Uriagaon in Nagaon, where a man allegedly murdered his father.


The victim, identified as Nandeswar Bora, was reportedly killed by his younger son, Anjan Bora.


The suspect, Anjan Bora, is a repeat offender who previously served a jail sentence for the alleged murder of his brother in Hyderabad.


Known for his violent temperament and involvement in various criminal activities, his behaviour had reportedly forced other family members to flee their home in fear.


Nagaon Police and a forensic team have arrived at the scene to launch a formal investigation.


Police have recovered a blood-stained stick from the spot, suspected to be the weapon used in the crime.


The investigation is ongoing.
