New Political Party ‘Assam Lok Parishad’ Makes Its Debut

Digital Desk: A new political party has officially emerged in Assam under the name ‘Assam Lok Parishad’, introducing itself as a fresh regional force with a strong youth-driven leadership. The party aims to establish true nationalism and position itself as a third alternative in the state’s political landscape.

Preparations are already underway to contest upcoming elections, with the party planning to begin its political journey from Upper Assam’s Jorhat district. Leadership selection will take place after holding four rounds of meetings across key regions.

On Sunday, during a press conference held at Rajgarh in Guwahati, the party formally announced its name and launch. Present at the event were certain eminent personalities.

Assam Lok Parishad has also indicated that, if necessary, it is open to joining hands with other nationalist parties to strengthen its mission and expand its influence across the state.
