Digital Desk: An incident at Sivasagar Civil Hospital, Joysagar, has sparked tensions following the death of a pregnant woman from Betbari late last night.


The deceased, identified as Anamika Das Rajput, was nine months pregnant with twins at the time of her passing.


Her family has accused the hospital of medical negligence, alleging that in the absence of a doctor, a nurse provided incorrect treatment, which led to her tragic death.


Anamika's mother, Bina Das, and husband, Bitul Das, are demanding a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

 

A formal complaint is being lodged at the local police station regarding the matter.


In response, officials, including a magistrate and police personnel, have already reached the hospital to initiate an inquiry into the incident.
