For the fourth time in a succession, Sitharaman has made it to the list.
Digital Desk: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Biocon CEO Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, and Nykaa Founder Falguni Sanjay Nayar are among six Indians named to Forbes' annual list of The World's Most Powerful Women. Sitharaman comes in at number 36 on the list.

For the fourth time in a succession, Sitharaman has made it to the list. In 2021, she was ranked 37th on the list. She was ranked 41st in 2020 and 34th in 2019.

HCLTech's Chairperson, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, has been placed 53rd. Madhabi Puri Buch, Chairperson of India's Securities and Exchange Board (SEBI), was placed 54th.
Soma Mondal, the Chairperson of India's Steel Authority, has been placed 67th. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Executive Chairperson and Founder of Biocon Limited and Biocon Biologics Limited, is ranked 72 on the list. Falguni Sanjay Nayar, Founder and CEO of Nykaa, a cosmetics and lifestyle retail brand, has been placed 89th.
