Digital Desk: A 77-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh devised a ' jugaad'  to beat the heat. Lalluram, from UP's Lakhimpur Kheri district, kept cool in the sweltering heat by wearing a helmet with a portable fan attached. The sun appears to power the fan. As a result, Lalluram can be seen wearing a plastic helmet with the panel attached in pictures that have gone viral on social media.

Why did the 77-year-old man come up with such an unusual way to beat the heat, you may wonder? Lalluram was out and about selling flowers door-to-door, as he did every day. He became ill as a result of the high temperature. As a result, he was unable to go out and sell his goods, making life difficult for him and his family. This had a negative impact on the family, as they were barely able to make ends meet.

When Lalluram recovered, he realised he needed a portable fan because he couldn't stand the heat. This is where he got the idea to wear a solar-powered fan on his head.

He claims that the portable fan provides him with some cooling relief from the heat. The fan's intensity is determined by the strength of the sun's rays.

Lalluram also stated that he created this unusual portable fan by borrowing items from various people. He had little money left over after his illness and couldn't afford the materials needed to make this.
