Digital Desk: As reported by media, Border Security Force (BSF) officers shot and killed a Pakistani invader in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. The incident occurred along the international border in the Arnia district of Jammu & Kashmir's RS Pura.

According to reports, the invader was killed after ignoring multiple warnings from border guards. He also attempted to flee after breaching the border fence near the Jabowal border in the early hours of Monday.

According to government authorities, the invader was quelled at approximately 1:50 a.m.

In January of this year, the BSF shot and killed a Pakistani infiltrator in the Gurdaspur region of Punjab's India-Pakistan international border. The alleged invader was confronted and dissipated by BSF troops.

This is the first incident in 2023 in which a Pakistani infiltrator has been slain at the border.
