Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla had convened an all-party meeting to address the security breach earlier in the day.

Digital Desk: In response to the incident regarding the breach of Parliament's security, opposition party leaders on Wednesday met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. On Wednesday, when the House was in session, two people leaped from the visitors' gallery into the Lok Sabha chamber and opened canisters that released yellow smoke. This caused a security alert.

The Speaker promised the MPs that the security will be examined, according to ANI sources. Regarding a review of security, the Secretary General of the Lok Sabha has also written to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

According to ANI sources, passes will not be granted for the public gallery until additional directives are received. Speaker Om Birla has also taken notice of the issue surrounding the issuance of permits to MPs' personal assistants.

Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan have been identified as the two invaders.

In the meantime, the leaders of the opposition attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the significant security breach in the Parliament. Since one of the two intruders who caused the breach had entered the Parliament using a visitor's pass that was given in the name of Pratap Simha, a BJP MP from Mysuru, they launched an attack on the ruling party.

PTI claims that Sharma's permit was granted based on the recommendation of BJP MP Pratap Simha, who represents Mysuru, Karnataka.

Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla had convened an all-party meeting to address the security breach earlier in the day.

"Both of them have been apprehended, and the materials they were carrying have also been seized. The two individuals outside the Parliament have also been arrested by Police. Following the House's reconvening at 2:00 pm, the Speaker informed the members."

Separately, on Wednesday while demonstrating outside the Parliament building with cans that generated a reddish-yellow smoke, a man and a woman, identified as Neelam, 42, and Amol Shinde, 25, were taken into custody.

Police have detained all four of them, and an investigation is being conducted.
