Prime Minister Narendra Modi while chairing the 35th ‘Pragati’ meeting on Wednesday review a number of infrastructural projects amounting to a total cost of Rs 54,675 crore which will be provided across 15 states.

During the meet, PM Modi directed officials for prompt resolutions without hindering developmental works like the infrastructural projects.

‘Pragati’ is an ICT-based multi-modal platform for pro-active governance and timely implementation, involving central and state governments.

A total of ten agenda items – nine projects and one programme were taken into consideration during the meet. Among the nine projects, three belongs to the Ministry of Railways, three of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and one project each of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Power Ministry and the Ministry of External Affairs , the PMO  statement said.

These nine projects have a cumulative cost of Rs 5, 675 crore concerning 15 states – Odisha, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Jharkhand, Bihar, Telangana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.

283 projects having a total cost of Rs 13.14 lakh crore have been reviewed by PM Modi up to the 34th edition of the ‘Pragati’ meeting.
