The 'Save Soil Movement' is a global campaign to raise awareness about declining soil health and encourage people to take proactive steps.

Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend a 'Save Soil Movement' function at Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan on Sunday (June 5) as part of World Environment Day 2022, the Prime Minister's Office announced on Saturday. During the presentation, the Prime Minister will also communicate to the audience.

According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the' Save Soil Movement' is a global movement to raise awareness about declining soil health and encourage a conscious reaction to enhance it.

It is to be said that Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev began the initiative in March by embarking on a 100-day motorbike tour that took him through 27 nations, marking the 75th day of his adventure that occurred on June 5.

Every year on June 5, World Environment Day is commemorated. The participation of the Prime Minister in the initiative will demonstrate the common concerns and commitment to improving India's soil health.

It provides a global forum for promoting constructive environmental action. It also encourages people to consider what they consume from the ecosystem, allowing them to contribute to a greener future.

Every year on June 5, World Environment Day is commemorated. In 1974, the inaugural World Environment Day was observed.

The day's goal is to encourage governments, businesses, civil society, and individuals to safeguard the environment. The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) organises and sponsors events worldwide.

According to the campaign's website, the 2022 World Environment Day campaign #OnlyOneEarth advocates for global collective, revolutionary action to celebrate, protect, and restore our planet.
