Digital Desk: Dr. Gaurav Gandhi, a distinguished cardiologist from Gujarat's Jamnagar, died of a heart attack, according to sources on Wednesday.

According to accounts, the 41-year-old doctor died in the early hours of Tuesday. As per reports, Gandhi is said to be survived by his wife and two children.

According to his family members, the doctor ate a usual meal and then fell asleep. According to them, there was no discomfort in his health. When they attempted to wake him up the next morning, he was reportedly found in an unconscious state in his house. He was brought to the hospital and declared dead.

During his career, Dr. Gaurav Gandhi did a commendable job as he performed over 16,000 heart operations. He was also one of Jamnagar's greatest and youngest cardiologists. The doctor's sudden death has sent jolts throughout the community.
