Khedkar gained attention following reports of her purported requests for a separate office, an official car, and the unauthorized use of a beacon on her private vehicle.

Digital Desk: Probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar's district training in Maharashtra has been suspended, as announced by the state government on Tuesday. Khedkar, who is under scrutiny for allegedly falsifying disability certificates to qualify for the Civil Services exam, has been withdrawn from the State Government of Maharashtra's District Training Program.

She has been directed to return to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie by July 23, according to a state government official. The academy has decided to recall her for further action as deemed necessary.

Khedkar gained attention following reports of her purported requests for a separate office, an official car, and the unauthorized use of a beacon on her private vehicle. Additional Chief Secretary of Maharashtra, Nitin Gadre, conveyed in a letter that the academy has suspended Khedkar's district training program and summoned her back for immediate action.

The letter instructed, "You are relieved from the district training program of the Maharashtra state government. You must report to the academy without fail, no later than July 23, 2024."
