Digital Desk: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, traveled by bike to Pangong Lake in Ladakh on Saturday, where he will be celebrating his father, and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's birthday on August 20.
Rahul Gandhi has posted images of him on a KTM 390 Adventure with other motorcyclists following him on his official Instagram account. The MP is seen riding through Ladakh's picturesque mountains while wearing full biking gear, including a helmet, gloves, riding boots, and a jacket.
The caption read, “On our way to Pangong lake, which my father used to say, is one of the most beautiful places in the world."
Rahul Gandhi is currently in Ladakh on a tour that is expected to end on August 25.
Taking to X, Rahul Gandhi posted a few images along with the caption, "Upwards and onwards - Unstoppable!"
A 373 cc bike with a maximum output of 32 kW and a maximum torque of 37 Nm is the KTM 390 Adventure. At its highest speed, the adventure tour vehicle can go at about 155 kmph.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had stated that he has a "KTM 390" but that his security prevents him from riding it. In a video he posted online, Mr. Gandhi can be seen interacting with "super mechanics" in Delhi's Karol Bagh market and picking up the finer points of bike maintenance.
