Digital Desk: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms with lightning and light to moderate rain in 11 districts of Assam over the next three hours.

Some of the Upper Assam districts, including Dibrugarh and Sivasagar, have been witnessing heavy rainfall for the last two days.
The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has issued alert to the public and advised to stay indoors and take necessary actions during rugged weather.
