Digital Desk: Assam boy Riyan Parag has been selected in India A squad for the Men's Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023, which will be played in Colombo from July 13 to 23.

The development comes after the Board for Cricket Control in India (BCCI) announced the India A team for the upcoming ACC Men's Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023.


Yash Dhull, who led his team to win in the 2022 under-19 World Cup, will lead the team, with Abhishek Sharma serving as his deputy.

The team also included Tamil Nadu's Sai Sudharsan, who excelled with Gujarat Titans during the current Indian Premier League. Pradosh Ranjan Paul, another member of his state team, also got a spot.

The 15-member team includes bowlers like Manav Suther and Yuvrajsinh Dodiya.

India has been put in Group B, which includes Nepal, UAE A, and Pakistan A. Group A consists of Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A, and Oman A. The top two from each group will progress to the semifinals on July 21. 

The final will take place on July 23.
