Digital Desk: A man named Rafikul Islam from Lakhipur in Goalpara has been arrested by the Crime Branch for illegally uploading the Assamese film Roi Roi Binale, Zubeen Garg’s last film on YouTube.


The movie, which was the long-cherished dream project of late singer-composer Zubeen Garg, had been pirated and made available online, prompting swift police action.


The arrest was made in response to a complaint filed by the Zubeen Garg Fan Club, Kamrup. Currently, Rafikul Islam is being interrogated by the Panbazar Cyber Crime Unit.


Meanwhile, the Crime Branch has launched a search operation to trace three more accused individuals involved in the case.
