Digital Desk: Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni are one of the most beloved couples in India. MS Dhoni is a person who keeps his personal life quite private and hardly makes any post regarding his personal life. Therefore, fans have to keep checking posts-old of Sakshi Dhoni to get a glance at his life.

Sakshi Dhoni lately recalled when she met MS Dhoni for the first time. Speaking in an interview of CSK, Sakshi spoke about the time in the past.

Sakshi said, "In movies, you know how it is. The directors take liberty for creativity's sake and capture the audience. The first time I met him was through a common friend, and it was the last day of my internship at Taj, and he seemed to be a very regular guy, like very normal."

"At the time, I didn't use to follow cricket that much those days. Obviously, I knew Sachin Tendulkar, Dravid, Sourav Ganguly. I knew all those players. But I just knew there was a 'Pahadi guy.' He has got long hair, and he is a hulk. And my mom was a fan of him, and when I met him, I told Mumma that he doesn't have long hair. He has got short hair."

MS Dhoni and Sakshi met through a common friend in 2008 and exchanged numbers before they started dating. However, the couple tied the knot 3 days before MS' birthday - on July 4. While the fans are well-versed with how they met, not many know about Sakshi's first reaction upon meeting MS.

MS Dhoni and Sakshi tied the knot in 2010, and they are now blessed with a baby girl, Ziva. Since Team India was all set for the 2015 World Cup, which booted off on February 14, Dhoni decided to stay in Australia and returned to India after the semi-final of the ICC event.
