Digital Desk: According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan has tested positive for COVID-19. The news comes after Kartik Aaryan, Katrina Kaif, and Aditya Roy Kapur all tested positive for the disease. Infected with COVID-19, Akshay Kumar has recently recovered. Katrina Kaif had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier today, however she has since finished her quarantine period. The actress was supposed to begin filming for Sriram Raghavan's 'Merry Christmas,' starring Vijay Sethupathi, last week, but her test results forced her to delay. According to reports, this is also why Kat was unable to accompany Vicky Kaushal for an event in Abu Dhabi.

Kartik had just declared on Instagram with a witty message that he had tested positive for the fatal virus the day before. Aditya Roy Kapur also tested positive, which has hampered the promotional schedule for his upcoming film 'Om: The Battle Within,' according to ETimes. The BMC has issued new notifications asking film studios in the K-West ward not to have parties due to the escalating number of COVID-19 cases in Mumbai.

In terms of work, Shah Rukh recently announced his return with the films 'Pathaan' and 'Dunki.' He made waves earlier this week when he released the first look and poster for 'Jawan,' his highly awaited feature with Atlee. "Jawan is a universal story that transcends languages, locations, and is for all to enjoy," Shah Rukh stated in a statement about the film. Atlee deserves credit for making this one-of-a-kind film, which has also been a terrific experience for me as a fan of action movies! The teaser is only the tip of the iceberg, giving us a taste of what's to come."
